NAC (NOAD ADVENDO Combination) Breda is a Dutch football club from Breda that was founded on September 19, 1912. The club will play in the First Division in the 2023/24 season. The club has played in the Rat Verlegh Stadium since 1996, named after former NAC player Rat Verlegh. The stadium can accommodate 19,000 supporters.
NAC is the abbreviation of two merged clubs, the names of which are also acronyms: NOAD (Never Give Up Always Persevere) -- ADVENDO (Pleasant Through Entertainment And Useful Through Relaxation) -- Combination (merger year 1912). The place name Breda is a much later addition (2003).
