Severel MLS clubs interested in Erik Sorga - D.C. United favorites?
According to reports from Estonia and the Netherlands, severel MLS clubs are interested in signing Estonian goalscorer Erik Sorga. FC Flora president Pelle Pohlak already confirmed that Sorga will leave the club to sign with an MLS team.
As reported by soccernews.nl, the New York Red Bulls, Chicago Fire FC and D.C. United are in the race to sign the 20-year-old, with D.C. United being the favorite, according to The Washington Post.
The Washington Post writes that D.C. United are willing to pay up to $500,000 for Sorga, who's under contract with Estonian side FC Flora.
Erik Sorga started his career at Flora, after he signed his first professional contract in January 2017 at the age of 17.
The Estonian international made 91 appearances at Flora, scoring 78 goals and nine assists across all competitions.
